Inspiration: NEW RELEASE 5/1/2012 - Glimmering Tide is a scene from one of my favorite surf spots. In the foreground the leaves of the false kamani tree turn red before they fall in the winter. In the distance the coconut trees loom over a perfect wave that seems to fade into the glimmering sea.

Inspiration: NEW RELEASE 5/1/2012 - Popoki is the Hawaiian pronunciation for "cat". This one is shown here in a royal setting. Cats were brought to Hawaii aboard western sailing vessels and became a valued pet among Hawaiians. Captain cook wrote of an incident where a favorite cat had fallen overboard and a native greeting canoe retrieved it and returned it to his ship.
